West University Neighborsa City of Eugene Neighborhood AssociationWest University Neighbors would like to hear from small business owners in West University.
How can the neighborhood association better serve you and meet your needs?
Please attend our next WUN General Meeting on Thursday, JMarch 4th at 7pm at Central Presbyterian Church, 555 E 15th Ave. Enter via the alley. Follow the signs. We usually meet in the Cozy Sofa filled "Parlor".

the FUTURE of PARKING in the West University Neighborhood IMPORTANT PARKING NEEDS for THIS NEIGHBORHOOD will be discussed at TONIGHT’S (Monday) EUGENE CITY COUNCIL MEETING. (MONDAY, NOV. 16th, 2009) 7pm sign in to speak. 7:30 meeting begins. Please attend (or call and Email them) your concerns about losing the parking near your business while you can. Be there close to 7:pm to sign up as the meeting starts at 7:30pm, with public forum the first topic covered.
NOW is when you can defend it. You can speak, then go home early. WE ENCOURAGE all small business owners to say something in defense. If we don’t speak up now, parking spaces, building heights and a lot your input on important decisions about this neighborhood's future will disappear. NEW BUILDINGS You may have noticed a LOT of new Apartment buildings being built here lately. If you have, then your eyes and brain are connected. This is called a Boom Time and many people are cashing in on the fact the University is growing and it's a good time to pack people into this neighborhood. Because we are so close to the University area. |

Please come to YOUR monthly NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING. You'll be amazed what happens. It's the FIRST THURSDAY of every month. Easy to remember that way. If you live here, you are a West University Neighbor. To keep it simple, we call us the WUN. WUN = West University Neighbors (Neighborhood) Being here you have an influence on how decisions are made that affect our neighborhood. Even if you are here for as long as it takes you to graduate from school, you are still here. So, please come to your monthly neighborhood meeting. They are fun, and a lot of information is exchanged there too. We have great guests and important issues to be discussed. WUN GEN NEIB MTG -( West University Neighborhood General Neighborhood Meeting) is the FIRST THURSDAY of (almost) every month. Guests, topics and we want your input.
We meet in the comfortable "Sofa Lounge." We meet at the comfortable and easy to find Central Presbyterian Church.
